"I’ve been a regular guest at this place for over six years — it has always been one of my favorite spots in Dubai Marina, with a beautiful view of the harbour, great music, and usually excellent service.
Unfortunately, my recent visit was very disappointing.
We ordered a classic margarita, but what was served looked nothing like the standard version (photo 1). When I showed the waiter examples from Google, he simply said, “This is how we serve it here.” I politely refused the drink, as it wasn’t what I expected.
A few minutes later, the bartender named Danny came to our table. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he insisted that their version was the “real” classic margarita and even commented on my nationality, saying things like “Are you Russian? You just need something flashy for Instagram.”
Such a tone and attitude were completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
Later, they brought me another margarita — this time much closer to the proper version (photo 2) — and a small “compliment from the bar” (photo 3), probably to make up for the situation.
It’s truly disappointing to experience this kind of behavior in a place we’ve always loved and recommended to friends. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures guests are treated with respect, regardless of their background, and that drinks are served as described."
