"Last Exit (Dubai → Abu Dhabi direction, just after the E11 truck stop) is easily our favourite highway break. The whole place is themed around a cool 1950s-60s American West Coast / Route 66 vibe — neon signs, vintage cars, food trucks under fairy lights… it feels like a little slice of California or Nevada right in the middle of the UAE desert!
Food options are fantastic. I tried the Nash Hot Chicken and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly spicy, super juicy, with killer fries on the side. Everything tastes fresh and portions are generous.
Only small suggestion: it would be even more perfect with a couple of big familiar brands like KFC, Hardee’s, McDonald’s or Burger King (just like the opposite Last Exit has). That classic taste is sometimes exactly what you need on a long drive.
Still, this is hands-down the best food stop between the two emirates. We now plan every trip around it!
