There are two ends of dams, one which you can camp n other is good for sight seeing( you can see zikt dam board here).
If you not planning over night stay, better you have to leave before sun light getting dim. May be you might confused with multiple road.

"I was actually expecting a lot of water from this area when we planned to go there. When we arrived at the place, there was so little water, its like a small puddle, but since it was summer time (mid July) when we went there, maybe thats why there's no water. Nonetheless, for me the view is spectacular, its something you dont see a lot everyday. Sedan type cars can go up the dam but you may suffer a few bumps and scratches as it is a dirt road, there are big rocks and uneven terrain. I would recommend you go there on an SUV."
