Al Mairid Beach

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The rooms were well-maintained, and the entire property is absolutely beautiful. There are several clean pools to enjoy, each one well-kept. The nightly shows were engaging and provided great entertainment. The dance show by the Urban show team was simply spectacular. The service was prompt and attentive, with a special mention to Usman from the housekeeping team, who went above and beyond to assist us. Monica at reception also deserves a thank you for the warm welcome she extended upon our arrival.

The food variety was impressive, though most dishes lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. Overall, a great experience, and I would recommend this place for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-serviced getaway."

"I recently celebrated my birthday at Rixos Al Mairid, Ras Al Khaimah, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff even surprised me with a birthday cake, which made the day extra special.
The all-inclusive food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options throughout the day. There are plenty of swimming pools to choose from, a beautiful beach, and so many spots to relax and unwind.
The resort is also very family-friendly, with lots of activities and spaces for kids to enjoy, making it a perfect destination for both couples and families.
A special thank you to Monika at reception – she was warm and welcoming from the start. And in the restaurant, Jan April, and Snow were incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure our dining experience was perfect.
Overall, a fantastic stay with amazing service, beautiful surroundings, and a very relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere. Highly recommend for a special getaway or family vacation!"

"Short version: This hotel does not deserve to be called a Rixos. It tarnishes the brand's reputation with its "budget five-star" service. The price-to-quality ratio is poor.

In detail: The best features of this hotel are the beach and the grounds themselves. The beach is large and clean. The territory is well-maintained.

Everything else is a downside.

The entire huge beach has only one bar at one end. To get a drink of water, you either have to bring it from your room or trek 500 meters to this single bar. There is also a "vitamin bar" that reviews like to mention, but it operates for only 2 hours a day, and the fruit runs out within 15 minutes of opening.

The restaurant is too small for a hotel of this size. There's a high probability you'll have to wait in line for a table to become available. The food selection is poor, much worse than what you'd typically find in a Rixos. They try to compensate with theme nights, but it turns out terribly: when they serve red fish once a week, a long line forms for it, like during times of food shortage. However, the food they do cook is prepared well. That's a plus. The waiters are very slow; it's hard to get a drink (they could easily install coffee machines and a tea station), and tables are cleared very slowly.

Alcohol: They have it, and it seems decent. But there are no snacks (not even some nuts) at the bar.

Rooms: They are old. The hotel is long overdue for a renovation. The hallways have an unpleasant, musty smell.

P.S. I am disappointed and not sure if I will choose a Rixos in the UAE next time (I really wanted to go to the one on Saadiyat Island)."
