What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Sharjah Archaeology Museum for its fascinating history, well-organized exhibits, and especially its interactive elements for children, making it a great family spot. While affordable and clean, some note the preference for cash payments and wish for more adult-focused interactive activities.
"A wonderful museum with fascinating history and well-organized exhibits. Kids loved the play area where they could dig for treasures and build with bricks. Great spot for families!"

"Little underwhelming. Children 5 dhs and adults 10 dhs entry fees. Detailed history of UAE explained as different ages. Children get a small opportunity to become archaeologists with a jacket and hat. I feel the same should be given for adults too as they are paying more. And the biggest drawback the museum wasn’t accepting cards! Had to go to an atm and get cash. Really a big hassle. It’s all built well and clean with equipped washrooms for baby diaper changing etc. A small cafeteria is there. Didn’t find the staff too friendly . Could involve more interactive activities"

"What i liked most , apart from its excellent upkeep, was the opportunity for the children to explore the sites on their own identifying things. A great place to take children to inculcate interest in human history and development."
