"I recently enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at The Dhow & Anchor in Dubai, and it turned out to be a thoroughly pleasant experience. Set in a beautiful location with fabulous views, the venue offered the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon.
I opted for the traditional roast dinner. When it first arrived, it appeared a little smaller than expected, but it was absolutely delicious — full of flavour and surprisingly filling. After taking a short break, I couldn't resist trying one of the desserts from the tempting selection. It was definitely worth it and rounded off the meal perfectly.
The team at The Dhow & Anchor were very friendly and helpful, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere. While the service was generally good, there were a few occasions when it could have been a little quicker, likely due to how busy the venue was. The bustling crowd did create quite a lively (and at times loud) environment, so it is something to be aware of for those sensitive to noise.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I would happily return for another visit."

"have been visiting this restaurant for a long time and always enjoyed the menu, so I was surprised to see the recent changes. Unfortunately, the new versions of some dishes did not match my previous positive experiences.
The Shepherd’s Pie now tastes noticeably different from what it used to be, and the side has also changed — it now comes with green peas instead of the mixed vegetables that were previously served. The ribs have also changed in texture and flavour; the meat was firmer than before and did not separate from the bone the way it used to.
This restaurant has always been one of my preferred places for celebrations, and I have recommended it to many friends. I hope the management will consider bringing back some of the earlier menu options, as they were a big part of what made the place special for me.
