"The hotel staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much bother for them. In fact they went that wee bit extra without being asked which was a breath of fresh air compared with some other hotels we have stayed in. The food was exceptional as was the atmosphere in the main dining room…the decor and lighting is very “Burnsesque”, and you could imagine either Rabbie or Tam o’Shanter wandering in for a bite.
I am disabled, but there are lifts in the hotel and everything is very accessible, so it’s easy to get around. Staff are very mindful toward those of us less mobile and it was nice that this seemed very natural, rather than feeling as if I was a bother.
If there was one criticism, it would be the lack of parking at the actual hotel site. However, if you call the hotel directly they will give you the best advice to suit your needs. I did this and they were very accommodating. We will definitely be staying at the hotel again."

"We got married at the Brig o Doon hotel this summer. It was the perfect day from start to finish. Every member of the team were outstanding and were on hand for anything we needed. Lyndsey was our wedding coordinator on the day and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was calm and made us feel at ease during our day. The venue is so beautiful. The food was excellent, from the canapes to our wedding meal. I wish I could do it all over again. We will definitely be back to the Brig o Doon for dinner and to reminisce on our perfect day."
