📍Alta Store I go to Alta in Soho every single time I’m in London. They truly have the best pieces from independent designers, and I am honestly shocked at how good the prices are as well! For the quality, 180 pounds for a unique, handmade skirt is so incredible. I am also so impressed by the range of sizes and how kind the women who work at the store are! Also, love love love seeing @___ellamae___...

Reviews Summary

ALTA London is highly praised for its innovative Northern Spanish cuisine, particularly its live-fire grilled dishes and creative small plates. Diners consistently highlight the exceptional quality of food, unexpected flavor twists, and the attentive, knowledgeable service. The unique cocktails and the vibrant Kingly Court setting also contribute to a memorable dining experience. Reddit

"Fantastic meal @alta.london off #carnabystreet

Live fire restaurant with open kitchen inspired by Northern Spain. We were impressed by every dish that was put in front of us; from the bread and butter to the 35 day aged sirloin to the cocktails.

Each dish delivered an unexpected twist leaving you pleasantly surprised. Surprisingly, I find myself still thinking about the potato side dish with an incredible herb butter! It was also the first time I’d tried a warm cocktail (the Café Carajillo with Bananas, Honey, Coffee, Cream) and it was delicious!

My friend was amazed by how quiet the open kitchen was. Service was almost perfect (for me); not constantly being interrupted checking if we liked or meal, dishes described with just the right amount of detail that I didn’t get bored, very polite and friendly staff.

Great central London option.

"Fabulous food prepared by some fantastically talented chefs, totally amazing front of house staff who are very knowledgeable about the food on offer. The drinks were great as well.
Highly recommend the oysters, the seabass, the venison and the chocolate ice cream and smoked meringue. Thanks to the whole team for an amazing experience."

Richard Baker

"Honestly, I didn’t expect much from a “Kingly court” restaurant — they tend to come and go — but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic! The mackerel and clams were simple yet beautifully done, with delicate flavors that really hit the mark. The turbot was cooked perfectly. Every dish felt thoughtfully balanced without being overcomplicated. The chocolate bread dessert at the end was an absolute standout.
The only small letdown was that the wine came from a tap. I get that it’s an eco-friendly move, but personally, I like seeing the bottle when it’s poured. Not a dealbreaker, though. Overall, a great meal that exceeded expectations!"
