"Lovely place I accidentally found whilst delivering to a customer. Luckily I had my skates with me too 😀.
Could easily spend a few hours here. Carpark was free, cafe and toilets close by.
You can have a walk around the lake or venture on the route 6 cycle path which is pretty smooth and a slow scenic as it follows the river Derwent.
Definitely worth visiting and for rollerblading it’s awesome"

"Nice park near the city centre. The cycle paths which crosses the park along the river and also out towards Allenton are great routes if you are looking to go longer distances. The routes around the park itself are also good. I especially like the parts by the river. The lake area is not so good as there is a lot of bird much. The free parking is very useful."
