Amroth beach in Pembrokeshire just a short walk through the gorgeous national trust Colby woodland garden. I loved these painted pebbles lining the beach with messages to lost loved ones or wishes and manifestations! I added one of my own but only had a biro lol so it wasn’t quite as colourful. I would have loved to stay a bit longer but it was a long drive back and I already over stayed. 🙃 #pembr...

Reviews Summary

Amroth Beach is widely praised for its cleanliness, dog-friendly atmosphere, and being a quieter alternative to busier nearby resorts. Visitors appreciate the rock pooling opportunities at low tide and the accessibility for prams and wheelchairs. Some note it's more of a pebble beach with rocky underwater sections, recommending water shoes for swimming.

"A lovely clean beach which was great for swimming as it is lifeguarded and a really good amount of dog friendly beach even in the summer months."

Naomi Saunders

"LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BEACH!! Much quieter than Tenby. Separate dog area. When tide is out there are tide pools. Be careful and aware of the tide coming in, it rises fairly quick."

Elizabeth Jenkins

"Amroth has a special place in my heart as my parents used to take me and my sister there when we were young. It is a great place to take children for rock-pooling, playing in the sand, or just looking for interesting rocks, and there are lovely eateries and shops to provide for all your holiday needs - and the staff are very helpful. There is a walkway down to the sandy part of the beach, which means that even those with mobility issues can get to the sand, but the beach is much more of a rock beach than a sandy beach and, going into the water, I always wear footwear, as there are some brutal rocks which jut out of the sand under the water.
Amroth is also a great place to stop off on a coastal tour - for a packet of chips or a picnic while parked on the seafront (limited parking included some for blue badge holders) or sitting on one of the many benches on the pathway which runs along the seafront. It really is the most beautiful place. Highly recommended."
