"Part of the large combination of commons near Esher. It can be hard to navigate as there aren't many signs, but at points, you can hear busy roads (and possibly a railway line), which may help if you are using a map to navigate."

"Just love this little hidden area of woodland! Generally unspoilt and Great for people interested in the nature of North Surrey, bearing in mind it's clay substrate, hence the name "Claygate". I Take my friend's dogs here once a week, but very popular with dog walkers, some of whom are not particularly bothered about picking up after! Just watch your step, esp near the car park and other main entrances!
Excellent selection of fungi. I Noted last year that the majority of Arum flower buds were eaten by rodents.
Lots of Molehills!"
