"In this quiet corner of England, it's said that the gunpowder plot was hatched in the half-timbered chamber in the house next to the church. The house belonged to the Catesby family and the church includes memorials to them. The church includes wall paintings, a kneeler monument, some fine later wall memorials, a Jacobean pulpit among other features of interest. There is free on-street parking in this picturesque village."
