What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ashford International Station is praised for its modern facilities, helpful staff, and convenient connections for domestic travel. However, the disused Eurostar platforms serve as a poignant reminder of its past, and some travelers have experienced issues with service reliability and missed connections due to delays.
"It's a long way with long steep staircases to get from platforms 1-2 to 5-6. Station operation seemed great, with trains joining and splitting like clockwork. The worst part is the middle platforms where the Eurostar used to call, the tracks are rusted and all that investment in departure lounges etc is sitting idle. Meantime, the current Eurostar trains whizz past on a viaduct next to platform 6, which feels surreal."

"Good Interchange point but as the station is operated by Southeastern if the train is delayed from London you will most likely miss your Southern Train to Eastbourne as the train will not wait"
Trainspotter Archie
"Bit quiet station. Bright and modern than rest of around the area. This station has facilities like escalator, lift, cafe etc. quick connection for London St Pancras. Staff was helpful."
