"Ashplats Wood is a lovely well maintained woodland in East Grinstead. The northern half of the woodland makes up part of the High Weald of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The paths are all well cleared and easy to follow, but some can get muddy in the winter months. The woodland is popular for dog walking and small strolls. The Ashplats Conservation Group run regular events where volunteers help to maintain the woodland and make it a brilliant place for ally types of wildlife. I always enjoy a walk around the woodland."
