What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise The Gobbins for its spectacular cliffside views, unique engineering, and the engaging guided tours. The chance to spot wildlife like puffins and seals adds to the appeal. However, some find the mandatory footwear and potential upselling of gear a bit commercial, and the physical demands of the steep paths are a consideration for those with mobility issues.
"What a cool experience! My guide Billy did an awesome job leading the tour! Hiking shoes are required but if you don’t have any, you can rent them when you buy your ticket online. The hardest part of the walk is the hike back up the steep hill at the end, but you can take your time. I definitely recommend doing this if you’re in the area! Some really amazing views!"

"I want to thank the staff for being so nice and accommodating, especially Robert and our guide Roberta. We took a wrong turn on the way and ended up a bit late, but they let us go with another group, which was very kind of them.
The walk itself is stunning and we were lucky enough to see puffins on the day! 100% recommend it!"
Joane Barros Fernandes
"We had a great time at the Gobbins. Stunning views and great paths by the cliffs.
The visitor centre provides the helmet and hiking shoes with additional fees but I’d highly recommend bringing your own hiking shoes and helmet."
