"It was a damp and very cold winters afternoon when I visited Battersea Zoo, so I was not expecting many animals to be out. Surprisingly there were lots to see including birds, reptiles, insects, monkeys and farm animals.
At certain times you could see animals being fed and the keepers would provide information about them.
They had a gift shop, which had a lot of toys and a few souvenirs. It was the prices you would expect from a London attraction. Staff were polite.
There was a great play area, which kept the little one occupied for a long time. Some of the area was a bit muddy, so I suggest wearing sensible shoes.
There were toilets, a baby changing room and hand washing stations in the park. The toilets were clean.
There is disabled access to most of the park. Some of the playground area is not accessible. The meerkat tunnel is also not accessible, but the glass was so scratched in it you could not really see a lot anyway. There are disabled toilets."

Rosie in particular was great and answered all of our questions. My daughter loved seeing the Scottish Wildcats and watching all of the animals enjoy their enrichment activities."
