What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bede Park is a well-loved family-friendly spot with excellent playground facilities and ample green space for games and picnics. Visitors appreciate the free access and the dedicated parkour area. However, some reviews mention concerns about litter and limited parking.
"It is a family-friendly park. Slides and swings are available for children to enjoy themselves. A good green area to either play soccer, cricket, or race with your mates. Trees are available for shade when the sun is fierce. You can have a family picnic as well. Moŕrison express and other cornershops are just around the corner for your refreshment. Above all, kids use these facilities for free."

"Even though I’ve only been to one area of the park, which was the parkour/bars area where I took my son, I didn’t have a good experience at all, while the actual equipment was good the cleanliness was horrible there was a lot of rubbish, fag ends and a literal dead animal skull. 1 star."

"Bede park has a small play area, separated into an area for young children and older children. There are swings of various types, climbing areas with slides etc. There's also a grass area large enough for games like football and cricket (both of which were going on whilst we were there). There are some nearby shops/takeaways. I didn't notice any toilets here."
