What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Engine Yard's beautifully decorated retail units and charming boutiques appealing, with many enjoying the food at The Fuel Tank. However, some express disappointment with early Sunday closures and note that certain shops may be closed during off-peak times or off-season. Prices in some areas could also be perceived as high.
"The retail units are beautiful decorated and designed, and there's some lovely items to look at and buy. We didn't eat in the bistro and from reading wider reviews that was probably a good thing. One thing that puzzled me was that some of the shops and the castle were close before 3pm on a Sunday, despite Google saying both should be open until 5pm. No explanation given on any signs which was odd. A nice place to stop and it certainly looks pretty but the estate managers might want to think about how they might lower some of the prices and also although I didn't use the Bistro it clearly has a bit of work to do based on wider reviews. Worth a visit though."

"Called into the Engine yard at Belvoir, and I wanted something to eat and drink. I think it's called the Fuel Tank.
I was greeted at the door by Polly, a charming young lady, and she gave me a table near the cake counter in the middle of the restaurant with funky furniture all around very interesting. I wasn't waiting long before my order arrived very hot too. I ordered a raspberry fizzy drink and to eat chicken schnitzel fries and coleslaw. It was delicious. Whilst I was there, a family mother, daughter, and 5 grandchildren came in, and we struck up a conversation, and a lady next to me who was reading joined in. A lovely place, good food and great atmosphere for all ages. I would highly recommend this place."

"We have visited the Engine Yard multiple times over the last few years and it's always a great day. Tdiay we visited for the Belvoir Market and Pop-Ups which are on every weekend at Belvoir Castle.
As well as all the usual artisan shops, nursery and Belvoir Butchers there are popup shops and stalls, live music and delicious food at Belvoir Bistro."
