"this birchen edge is less famous than other rocky edges but it is worth to visit. it can be easily reached from Birchen edge car park which adjacent to Robinhod Inn. this is a national trust car park. walking further distances, you can reach Curbar edge and Baslow edge."

WaiTak Chao

"Birchen edge is a nice easy short walk with great views. It also has its own pay and display car park .
There is however a short steep rocky uphill section of approximately 50 metres which is near the start of the walk . The walk can be a circular which takes you across the edge top and also along the bottom with views looking up to the edge . While visiting Nelson's monument and the three ships ( Victory Defiance and Royal sovereign) you may also encounter some climbers practiceing their hobby . A little further the Trig point can be found.
All in all a great easy short walk with nice views and a few things to see along the way !"
