It's highly recommended for families with children, offering a fun and engaging day out. While some mention it's not a huge park, the overall experience is positive, with many finding it a worthwhile visit for a few hours.

"Lovely place to visit, especially if you have children or are an animal lover! They have a great range of animals which have lovely, clean enclosures, they look well looked after, and it’s a great atmosphere. We stopped at the little cafe to grab an ice cream, there’s a small indoor soft play area but you need to make sure your children have socks if you want to use it. There’s a lovely outdoor park with a large climbing frame, a large rope seesaw swing and walkways for children. £11 for an adult during peak times, under 3’s are free.

Was a really nice afternoon out and my son loved it! Absolutely recommend!"

Alice Hanson

"Lovely place to visit. Paid on entry and ticket prices are reasonable. It took us just under two hours to see every bit of the park. A variety of animals to see and their enclosures are quite spacious and seem well equipped. Even though it rained intermittently during our visit which was off putting (wrong choice of day to visit I guess) but a good day overall.
Absolutely recommend."

Snowy Nights

"Not a bad few hours. Reasonably priced. The place is well maintained and clean. There are loads of benches and picnic tables ideal for tired legs. The range of animals is good too. The cafe is basic but clean and the staff are friendly."
