"I loved the course, given the dry conditions it was in great condition, the greens were beautiful but rapid, anything downhill needed careful attention. So where you placed your ball on the greens was crucial, I played well, but I had luck, which was bourne of ignorance (but who cares, I won!!!!).
But I also loved the layout, it seemed to meander through the countryside.
There were lots of public paths criss crossing the course, which added to the allure. Well worth the visit."
