"Lovely trip on a hot sunny late September day. We took a special trip, rolls/cheese/cider going to Minehead and scone, jam and cream tea on the way back. Staff very friendly and efficient. Couple of hours to look around town before return to Bishop's Lydeard. Diesel going steam train on return."
Harry Hendry
"We were there for a 2940's weekend event including a Saturday evening dance and a Sunday lunch train. This is a wonderful experience and just two days does not give you enough time to see it all but careful planning will get you to see a good amount.(You can of course use your car to get to the individual stations that makes it a lot easier). This for us though was all about the trains and it was perfect. We must not forget the staff too who throughout the whole of our time there were excellent. Friendly, informative and most helpful.
A highly recommend visit, special event or otherwise!"
