Treat yourself and do the trip upto the roof whilst the construction is being done. There are 110 stairs or a hoist lift for those less mobile.
There are wheelchairs availble for use in the house and electric chairs/scooters are available for the longer trips out in the gardens and grounds, paths are gravel so easy to manouvre around.
Lovely formal gardens, the rose garden is past it's now we are in October but I have seen photos from the summer and it is gorgeous.
Spend a whole day, there is that much to see here"
