Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Hall Walk for its absolutely stunning views of the Fowey River and surrounding villages. The two ferry crossings are a unique and enjoyable part of the experience. While generally easy, some note that paths can be slippy, so good footwear is recommended. It's a highly recommended, picturesque walk for most.

"Fantastic walk, fabulous views, slippy in places but very doable. Stopped for lunch in Polruan"

Carol O'Brien

"An amazing walk from Fowey, where you have to take the ferry to Bodinnick, and then walk up the hill past the Ferry Man Inn and the church on the right, just past the church on the right is the entrance to the Hall Walk to Pont Pill and then onto Polruan and then the Ferry back across the river to Fowey. It’s a great walk with not too many steep hills or slopes and the most beautiful scenery that you will see."

Jonathan Parr

"Beautiful walk with stunning views over the river Fowey, Fowey & Polruan. The Hall walk is an interesting one, we found it on the Internet. Starting in Fowey along the main street to the Boddinick ferry (£2 per adult) upthe Hill past the pub on the right is a path sign posted to Polruan. Passenger ferry (£2.30 per adult) from Polruan back to Fowey. If you look at the Hall walk on line you'll find an interesting info on what to look out for along the way. Highly recommended."
