What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the dramatic natural spectacle of the Bonchurch Landslip and the fantastic panoramic views from Nanson Hill. However, the introduction of parking fees has been a point of contention, and the uneven, steep terrain on walks requires careful navigation and appropriate footwear.
"This carpark was free from time immemorial until the greedy/bankrupt IoW council decided to waste more thousands of pounds to install PayUp here parking machines plus paying for car park attendants to issue parking fines. Shame as we used this regularly for walks. Lovely views not far from parking area. Bus stop nearby with good service from Shanklin and Ventnor. Take care crossing road"

"Ideal car park for a woodland walk. Walk to Bonchurch took us at least 45 minutes. The terrain is uneven and can be steep in parts."
