"Nice trial.. 2.5 kms... Great river and falls view"

"Great little 5km hike up from new Lanark to the top. You pass by the waterfalls and associated hydro electric power plant, which is all interesting to see.
There are a few viewing places along the way with boards telling the history of the area. At the top you can either loop around to the other side of the river or come back down the same route. There’s around 600ft in elevation but it’s easy going and on nice ground."
Karl Martindale
"Lovely scenic views. The walk from the falls of clyde extends onto the clyde walkway, going through Corehouse and Kirkfieldbank, back to New Lanark. Good for walking dogs. Very steep in parts, so not suitable for people with poor mobility and if you're a keen photographer, lots of viewing points along the way."
