"The gardens are relatively compact; imaginatively designed, immaculately maintained, and full of interest. They complement the lovely house (private) perfectly. Cafe and small shop in the adjacent tithe barn. The woodland walk away from the car park across the road is also very pleasant. A really enjoyable visit."

"I've visited Bourton House garden about 6 years ago and enjoyed it, so decided I'd take my sister for a visit recently. I have to say I'm so pleased I've gone back. The gardens aren't huge but they are packed full of beautiful plants and exciting and unusual planting combinations. You'll see everything from British natives and common garden plants to exotic gems and rare beauties. I particularly enjoyed the combinations of aeoniums and pelargoniums in large pots. There's many different garden rooms, each with their own charms and themes.
The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. There's delicious cakes and snacks to be had.
A really well worth visiting garden."
