"I like visiting Bradford-on-Avon always canal boat going up and down and through the locks, like times long before, the ways hardly changeing, history in the making. Visiting the barn area and the small art shops and coffee shop. There is also a nice coffee shop were the canal lock is, for nice cream teas mmm yummy. You can also take nice walks along the canal side. Nice place to visit."

"This is one of the many interesting places along the Kennet and Avon canal, just a short walk from Bradford on Avon town centre. There's always something to watch in the boat world. However, unless you are afloat, and have reason to visit the marina, you can't actually get in there (in fact it's on the other side of the canal from the towpath ) - the main interest is in watching the goings-on at a remnant of the infrastructure that once supported the extremely busy commercial canal traffic. As I say, there's always something interesting to see in the canal world. And there's also a nature reserve right next to the towpath on this section of canal, where you may find some interesting wildlife if you're lucky ! (And sharp-eyed.)"
