"As you travel from Sandbach to Congleton you'll pick up the sign for Brereton follow this road until you reach the car park which is on the left hand side. Ample parking that's around ยฃ2. Your right next to the lake. Many years ago we use to go swimming here but that's not allowed now. Toilets can be found on sight and there's also a cafe across the road at the cow shed. Dogs are allowed many locals come here for a stroll or a good walk around the lake and in the woods. Very well kepted area and well worth a visit. Ideal if you want have a picnic. Definitely recommend Brereton Heath."

"It's a lovely lake and a nice easy walk around the lake. And it has paths leading off to other walks through the woodland. So you can make your walk as big or small as you like. Lots of nature trails and lots of things the kids can spot along the way. The little cow shed next door to the reserve so you can grab a cuppa. Card only. Oakhanger project's is how I came to know the place through kayaking and canoeing. Which I found through Walk talk action. Which you can also find on Facebook and get involved for people of all ages"

"This place is just beautiful. Full of silver birch trees and so many different circular walks. My dog loves it and so do I. A perfect place for an off lead dog walk with lots of friendly doggies around to play with. There is somewhere to get a coffee too but I havenโt tried it yet."
