"There is both a 'South' route, which is much shorter, and a 'North' route which has a couple of stops and ends up near the Hall and Gardens. For a family it doesn't sound particularly cheap but it actually takes you a fair distance. There was a few trains running, which meant the wait wasn't excessive - but it does get very busy at peak times which means if you are getting on at stations that are not at either end then it tends to be difficult to get on!"

It connects Southside Park&Ride to the harbour/Spa.
The southside one runs every 20-30 minutes, although each roundtrip can take a bit longer when busy - if you have good eyes, you can see it at all times from either station, somewhere along its journey, giving you a clue as to how long you've got.
Tickets are single or return, and is bought upon boarding the train by cash or card.
