Best Brighton food market?
The Open Market in London Road has everything: fresh produce (good choice between cheap and high end products), ethnic ingredients, fresh fish, fancy dairy products from abroad, artisan bread, and loads of lovely cafes and food venues. I really love the Japanese shop and the…
what to do in brighton alone?
Open market is great for an affordable lunch - lots great places to eat there but Korpan and Smorls are my faves. I would also recommend catching a film at the Dukes of York’s cinema. Brighton also has a great stand up comedy scene. Also recommend just walking along the seafront…

How to afford Brighton?
Hi All, I'm a Sussex Uni finalist, and got a job lined up for post-graduation. It pays pretty well, but I've been crunching numbers and I'm still worried about affording somewhere to live, and I'm at awe at how people can manage their finances well enough to make ends meet.…

While not extensive, it's considered a worthwhile stop for unique crafts, quality produce, and delicious food, with many appreciating the community feel and good value.
"Quite interesting. Not very big, but I think it's worth a short visit. You can find interesting handicrafts and all kinds of more or less valuable antiques. Small shops of local producers. I drank a very good craft beer here.
I don't think you need more than 40 minutes for a visit."

"It's great that you can support the locals there! You can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, there is also a bakery and many other things such as sewing materials or antique furniture. I was surprised at how delicious the Samosa was at the little kiosk on the left. The best i had in my life, seriously. The whole place is not as big as I thought, but worth visiting when you are in this area."

"It’s not a very big market but if you want to support local and small businesses, this is the place to come! It’s very lively during Christmastime and you can find a range of items from crafts to sauces to cheese to books. There are many fantastic stalls and on the top floor there’s some specialised shops as well. If you’re passing by, it’s definitely worth a short visit. You can also keep up with them on their social media to see which days there’s going to be Makers’ Markets (my personal favourite)"
