"Lovely place to visit; I took three of my children so I paid £15 for the family ticket (two adults two children).
A lovely lot of history, well presented in several small buildings. Lots to intrigue and lots to see and read.
We particularly liked the telephone exchange which was a great bit of fun for us- watching my boys trying to dial the phone numbers was funny!
Tea room, good toilets, nicely kept and a good couple of hours spent - glad we visited
Thank you to the staff"

"A charming local museum, a great way to spend half a day. There is quite a lot to see, including local buildings, machinery and clothing, and of course the windmill! You can only go to the ground floor unless on a tour but just looking at it is interesting. There is a free carpark a few minutes walk away (very close), but just be aware you can't park on site - the location is on their website. Also enjoyed a tea in the tearoom, the staff were all very friendly."

"I went to the museum for a classic bike and car show. Not a huge affair, but friendly and more engaging for it. The museum has many buildings and themes, with spaces that are great for adults and kids alike. The restored windmill is delightful, with free guided tour and a sticker for reaching the top for my grandson. (I did too). A particularly thoughtful inclusion is a couple of stair lifts, to enable the less mobile the opportunity to view the first floor parts of the museum. Even without the vehicles on display, there is plenty to see and do for both adults and children. An afternoon thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my grandson. Thank you."
