Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Calder and Hebble Navigation towpath for its rich industrial history and scenic beauty, making it ideal for walks and bike rides. While the lack of clear signposting on some sections is a minor drawback, the overall experience is highly recommended for its historical charm and natural appeal.

"Walked several sections of the navigation, I love it!
The history is amazing, industrial archeology and history is plentiful, some you have to search for, much of it is plain to see.
The major (and some minor) towns and villages are mostly pleasant and welcoming, good eateries abound on the walk if you choose to do it!
One minor gripe is the signposting, or should I say, lack of it. There are places where it is necessary to leave the water and walk roads to join the next section, none of which are signed, so you have to have your wits, and a good map, about you!"
