"Really historic railway station at he edge of border between England and Scotland. Restored well with lots of original features around the station. There is not much in station to ear or drink but plenty of places outside of station to eat or drink.
From Carlisle plenty of major companies are serving for most of the main cities of UK. The surrounding area is full of history and majestic scenery such as Hadrian Wall to Lake District. While you travel from here to Leeds, that track is worth a break of journey because of nature beauty all around."
