"The play area and picnic areas are excellent. We took our grandsons on the putting this week. Nothing much has changed regarding the condition of this area in the last five years. Hole 14 is still a no go and some of the brickwork isn't safe. It needs a good tidy up and a coat of paint wouldn't go amiss. The recent upgrade of the park makes the putting area look even more neglected. Such a pity!!"

"Castle was closed when I went. But still nice to visit. Was busy, but still quite and peaceful. Car park was free. Harbour was on 1 side and a sandy beach on the other. There is information boards about the castle, has a draw bridge too."
