"Visited for the Knights of Albion event on the August Bank holiday. Fantastic event with lots to do, including axe throwing and archery included in the tickets.
Castle and grounds are lovely and well maintained, however aside from the castle itself, not much to do on the site, and can be covered in a couple of hours if there are no events on as the castle itself isn't very large."

"I spent a lovely few hours walking around the immaculately kept grounds of Hedingham Castle on the Time Trail.
Finding hidden shields with dates and letters on. We then read the history of the castle and people related to the castle plus using the letter clues solved the puzzle and was rewarded once in the castle.
A thoroughly lovely and very informative day.
Several adults as well as children completing the trail.
We then had a picnic by the lake.
Beautiful grounds and structure, interesting tour, welcoming staff. We had a very pleasant visit. Our family of four from the US found our tour guide, Andy, entertaining and knowledgable and we were particularly grateful that he tolerated our fascination and inquiries about the 17th Earl."

"We had our wedding at Hedingham Castle and we loved every moment of it!
We felt in love with this venue the very first time we visited and we knew straight away we had to get married there.
The venue however wouldn’t be the same without the amazing people that work there and make it all even more magical.
Sarah helped us, reassured us along the way and made everything so much easier and more enjoyable alongside Jenny, Debbie and the rest of the staff that helped us out on the day.
They all contributed to a very special day for us and our guests.
