It's seen as a vibrant hub for community events and a pleasant place to relax, eat, and shop, contributing to Bradford's positive regeneration. Some note that while the square is excellent, further development is needed in other city center areas.
"Fabulous flower, foliage, and grass planting.
Great pedestrianisation of the area around Bradford Town Hall and up to the science/photography/film museum. Lovely area from Jacobs Well to the Cinema, past the Alhambra, really superb revamp of all this central section.
More work is needed on the rest of the city Centre, radiating out from this zone, to raise it up to this high standard."
