"If you don't like hiking go somewhere else or get a jetpack. If you do walk down you'll be rewarded with a lovely little cove full of interesting rocks and fossils.
Dogs are welcome. I think children are, too. There are no facilities, not that I could find anyway, so don't expect to buy ice-creams or postcards.
At a price of £0 the car park is great value.

"Oh wow what an absolute gem of a find, very steep and muddy to climb down, so tie your wellies on, but well worth it, as the views and fossil finds are amazing. Absolutely not suitable for prams (yes I actually saw a mother down there with one) stuck!"
