What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Chertsey Meads is widely appreciated as a fantastic, free green space, particularly for dog owners who love the river access and open fields. Visitors enjoy the seasonal wildflowers and the historic Chertsey Show. However, some note that the park can become boggy outside of summer and that the show may have seen better days.
"This is a lovely annual show lasting the whole weekend. Lots to keep the children entertained. The Chertsey Show has being going a long time, last weekend was the 180th version. It's well spread out, perhaps it's best years are behind it. But it has a lovely vibe, there's nothing better than the children's tug of war."

"A good place for my dogs whenever they need a quick spin. Nice couple of bays for them to go in for a swim. If you cross over from the car park, you get a bigger field for the dogs to run around. A pond helps them cool off in the warm days."
Lae Monier
"Great place for a dog walk. Places dogs can swim and humans in the Thames. Little beaches around. This is best to visit in summer as during the other seasons much of it is boggy and difficult to walk through. One thing to note is that there is a very quiet road running through so be aware if you are walking with dogs they don't run across."
