"It’s probably 50 years since I was last in Rotherham so I had only vague memories of Clifton Park. I am so pleased that I made the walk up the hill to revisit.
I visited on Monday so I knew that the Museum would be closed but missed the fact that this would also mean that the cafe would be closed. The site is huge with amazing facilities for young families. I managed to visit the small modern walled garden which was lovely.
The memorial at the entrance is very striking.
Great maintenance of the Park by a dedicated team of gardeners.
Clifton Park is well worth a visit and perfect for picnics etc."
