"If you enjoy Tudor history, this is fascinating. This serves as Coombe Hill's water gathering hub, directing multiple springs into this place. It used to feed into two lead pipes that went to Hampton Court via a Kingston, under Norbiton Station, down the hill, and across the riverbed. About three miles away. The two well houses connected by an underground tunnel. It's good to see, but not much. From April through September, it is only open on one weekend per month. Entry is free and typically not crowded. The volunteers gave a historical lesson and were very friendly."
