Summer views, summer meadow, summer vibes ☀️ Coombe Hill - An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in The Chilterns. It's absolutely teeming with wildlife including Red Kites and day-flying six spot burnet moths (the red spots indicate to predators that they are poisonous: they release hydrogen cyanide when attacked!) #thechilterns #coombehill #buckinghamshire #hiking #summer #nature #hike #nature...

Whiteleaf Hill & Coombe Hill Circular Hike 📍 Location: Whiteleaf Hill, Buckinghamshire, UK 📏 Distance: 13 km circular I thought this would just be another walk in the woods, being so close to London… but I was wrong. Starting from Whiteleaf Hill car park (you can also get there easily by train, adding few km to your hike), we planned a 13 km hike with a little detour to Coombe Hill for the views...

"I had the most wonderful evening at Coombe Hill with my friends who are all Aylesbury locals and recommended the site for our picnic.

Safe to say, I was blown away by just how jaw-dropping the views are at the top. The sunset we watched was one of the best I’ve ever seen as you can see for several miles in the distance.

It was nice and peaceful too, with barely any other people present.

I look forward to coming back again soon 🫶"
