"It's ok for a short walk as the loop is less than a mile around it. It's probably idea for young children or people with mobility issues as it's not too far but I ended up going around it three times with my dog. It's really well kept and the path around the outside is quite level. Worth visiting if you are local."

"I love this wood, it's so beautiful. Great for taking photos, seen a Jay birds in here which is great! Great for dog walking or relaxing. Shame HS2 has come right next door, causing nothing but pain. The woods isn't massive, after an hour you have covered a lot if not the whole thing. Luckly there is plenty of other things to see around it. There is parking but it is small. Road can be dangerous so please be careful. Wouldn't come here at night unless you want a bit of a show..."
