"A picturesque country park, Well kept.
Stunning scenery. Really enjoyed taking the pictures of the dinosaur island, my young nephew was fascinated with them.
Shame we could get on the island at the time, due to a broken bridge, awaiting a repair.
An exquisite cafe (Dwy Afon) Located at the top of the car-park as you pull in.
A beautiful little gift shop next door to the cafe. - Some truly wonderful art in there.
The woman in there is super friendly, and very knowledgeable of where to visit locally. - We brought a pumpkin spiced candle, and it smells amazing.
Plenty of parking spaces.
Blue Badge Holders, Park FREE all day.
Others, It’s Pay & Display."

"I visited Craig-y-Nos Castle Country Park recently and, while the maps were very useful and the routes looked appealing, I left feeling disappointed.
I was saddened to see so many trees cut down and certain routes closed off. Parts of the park were beautiful, the lake, the original pavilion, and the historical information were all highlights, but for me, that was where the experience ended.
I can imagine it being a lovely spot for a picnic in good weather, but I won’t be returning until the aftermath of the tree felling has been addressed. It was quite sad to see."
