What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Cul Mor for its breathtaking summit views and the rewarding challenge of the hike. The boulder scramble is often highlighted as a fun, adventurous element. While generally considered easier than its Assynt neighbors, it still demands good fitness and preparation. Some find the terrain wet and route-finding tricky on less-used paths.
"Enjoyed hiking to the summit from Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve car park. I performed a circular summit route heading up the valley between the peaks on the southern side, this route has low foot traffic, wet in various places, more difficult route finding, but less steep sections. I came off the summit via northern face, heading down the steep boulder section, before completing the summit circular and back to the same out and back path again."

"First bit an easy enough uphill walk leading on to steeper big boulders to the peak - well worth it , we did it in 3.5hours there and back from the road ."
