Booking tickets for one of the Custom House square gigs this summer but never been there before. Are VIP tickets for the front row part by the stage, or somewhere off to the side? But confused by the raised platform bit, we just want to be as close to the front as possible like.

"A great intimate venue for open air concerts. A bit run down when no gigs are due. Like a lot of Belfast, you get the vibe that we're on the verge of bankruptcy. Coffee shops, pubs, takeaways, and charity shops are mostly all that's left, so an organised concert or festival at Custom House is a nice bit of escapism.
Our last venture to the venue was for Stiff Little Fingers."
