As its in the very centre of the UK you can get a train to pretty much anywhere from here. the Midland mainline runs through here.
Shame they demolished the original Victorian station in the 80's.
It has a Greggs which is very handy for a Bacon cob when you've come back early from somewhere.
There is a taxi rank right outside to the left and a bus stop also for onward travel. The skylink bus runs every 15 minutes during the day and hourly at night from this bus stop."

"Pretty nice and well laid out station. Lift access is good (especially on platform 6 where there is 2) however the lift to exit is a little on the small side. Nothing much else to say really."
