"Really cool stop! Great way to see the city of Derry from the views of the walls. Go counter clock wise from the visitors center to avoid steep inclines. Great history and if you’re a Doherty a fun fact for you! if you weren’t aware our ancestors sacked the town in 1608, one of the first organized rebellions against the British Empire which was known as the Burning of Derry. Enjoy!"

"Walking along the Derry Walls is a fantastic way to take in the city’s history. The views over the streets and River Foyle are great, and the walls themselves are well-preserved—worth spending some time exploring."

Griffin Puc

"Derry Walls. There is so much history here and on a nice day can spend a few hours walking past / reading the important stories and milestones placed around the walls and cannons.

Memorials, the place is full of history and sadness from the past."
