So it turns out whilst I managed to get over Ditchling Beacon and down to Brighton in one piece, my trusty Facebook marketplace bike… did not. We’ve got some serious gear issues and I’m not talking about a dodgy festival comedown. Thankfully, Decathlon got me back up and running, but jeez my wallet did not realise what it’s in for with this cycling business 😥 #gravelbike #newbiecyclist

"Great walk with great views, good opportunity to see farm animals close.
I recommend wearing hiking boots on this trail."

"Incredible sweeping vistas, wide and grassy hills: the South Downs at its best!

I recommend a mountain bike (or an e-mountain bike) to get the most of the sights without necessarily having to go the whole way on foot.

Clearly marked walking and riding routes, enough people around to feel safe but not too many to feel crowded.

Great place to feel dwarfed by the terrain."

Simon

"I came here with few of my motorbike friends. On a clear sunny day, you will get a very clear and amazing view. The car park is a little bit tight but still there are spaces. There is an ice cream van that sells coffee, tea and of course ice creams. Its an uphill ride so if you are planning to come in your bike(not motor bike), then be prepared for some good uphill riding."
