What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise the Dorchester Corn Exchange as a charming and versatile venue with a great atmosphere for live events and community gatherings. The intimate theatre and friendly bar are highlights, though parking can be a challenge and cafe prices are noted as being on the higher side. Recent refurbishments are enhancing its appeal.
"Beautiful small venue and will be even more so when refurbishments are complete.
Might benefit from some more toilets, especially on a busy night.
Parking, none nearby when I arrived, leave yourself time to find a parking space.
I look forward to watching another band here."

"The Star wars event was here this year. It was ok...the hall smaller than I expected and a bit dreary lighting wise. Coffee and light bites at the front is nice and bright, airy, staff nice, although very pricey (£3 for tea) £4-£7 for a pastry or Cake 😲)
Not sure about parking, there was access to the back from the hall (though I think that was just for the benefit of this event,as there was an outside eating stall and an area for people to go outside on their costumes for photos etc. There is a vehicle gate and what looks like that area is a small carpark, the little road down the side is not very wide so would be a tight turn if that is available for parking when other things going on. Otherwise nearest parking is opposite council building behind main shops (up to 4 hours only) or top of town near military museum for long stay over 4 hours both have just park parking app) I didn't Go upstairs, I think there is a gallery up there? I cannot comment on that because I didn't go upstairs."
